What this anonymous crypto exchange keeps

Anonymous crypto exchanges differ in what they keep. HiddenSwap keeps the swap, not your name. For 90 days, swap records keep the order ID, coins, networks, amounts, addresses, transaction hashes, times and where your visit started. Then they are deleted, except in the cases the Privacy Policy lists, such as an open claim.

An anonymous Bitcoin exchange: BTC to Monero

Bitcoin payments stay visible on the Bitcoin chain. So for an anonymous Bitcoin exchange, swap your BTC to Monero, which hides amounts, senders and receivers by default.

Start with Bitcoin to Monero. For the way back, Monero to Bitcoin pays BTC to the address you give, so use a new address for each payout.

Tips for the most private swap

    • Receive Monero. It hides amounts, senders and receivers by default. Our Monero (XMR) exchange page lists every Monero swap.
    • Use a new receiving address for each swap, from a wallet you control.
    • Open the site in Tor Browser. The swap works with JavaScript turned off, so the Safest setting works too.
    • Keep your order ID to yourself. Anyone who has it can open your order page.
    • Let payments in and out of your wallet differ in size and timing, so they do not mirror each other.

No KYC, anonymous and private: what each means here

    • No KYCA normal swap needs no ID. HiddenSwap is a no KYC crypto exchange for crypto-to-crypto swaps.
    • AnonymousA normal swap needs no account and no email either, and swap records keep no name and no IP address. That makes HiddenSwap an anonymous cryptocurrency exchange, not only a no KYC one.
    • PrivateThis is about what others can see of your payments. Receiving Monero keeps that to a minimum. See the private crypto exchange page.

    Questions about anonymous swaps

Do I need an account or an email to swap?

No. A normal swap needs no account, no email and no ID. You get an order ID and an order page instead. Keep the order ID, because support finds your swap with it.

Can I swap crypto anonymously in Tor Browser?

Yes. The site runs in Tor Browser, and the swap works with JavaScript turned off, so the Safest setting works too.

Which coin should I receive for the most privacy?

Monero. It hides amounts, senders and receivers by default. Payments on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana and Tron stay visible on those chains, so if you receive one of them, use a new address.

What happens if a swap cannot finish?

Your coins go back to your refund address, minus network fees. Without one, they go back to the address they came from, where the network shows it. Monero does not show that address, so add a refund address when you send XMR.

How long are swap records kept?

For 90 days. Then they are deleted, except in the cases the Privacy Policy lists, such as an open claim. They keep no name and no IP address.
