FAQ
Swap questions, answered short
No account needed to ask.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no email and no signup. You get an order ID. Keep it safe.
Is this a no KYC crypto exchange?
We never ask for your name, ID or email to start a swap. Every swap is screened, and some swaps are put on hold until the sender verifies. Residents of some countries may be asked to verify. Risk and screening What no KYC means and when checks happen
Is HiddenSwap an anonymous crypto exchange?
No service can promise that. We ask for no account, no email and no ID to start. A deposit on a public chain such as Bitcoin stays visible, every deposit is screened, and some swaps are held for checks. Risk and screening
How long does a swap take?
It depends on the network you send from. Your deposit needs network confirmations first, then our partner swaps and sends your coins. Open Estimated rate in the swap box to see the time estimate for your pair. The order page shows every step.
I lost my order ID. What can I do?
Write to support with your deposit transaction hash. We can find your swap with it.
Why add a refund address?
If a swap cannot finish, your coins go back there. Without one, refunds go to the address you sent from, which may not work if you sent from an exchange. Refunds
Floating or fixed rate?
Floating follows the market until your deposit is confirmed, so you may get a little more or a little less. Fixed locks the rate until the timer on the order page ends. Send the exact amount before then to keep it.
What if I send the wrong amount?
With a floating rate, a different amount above the minimum is usually swapped at the rate when it confirms. With a fixed rate, a smaller amount may be swapped in proportion, and a larger amount is held for review. Below the minimum, the swap cannot finish and a refund is not guaranteed. Contact support with your order ID.
How long is a deposit address valid?
Send within 24 hours for a floating rate, or before the timer ends for a fixed rate. Use each deposit address once, and never send to an old order.
Which networks are supported?
Every coin shows its network. Always send on the network shown on the deposit screen.
Does it work over Tor?
Yes. The site works in Tor Browser, and the swap works with JavaScript turned off. Tor does not change where you may use HiddenSwap: the country rules in the Terms still apply.
