Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no email and no signup. You get an order ID. Keep it safe.
Is this a no KYC crypto exchange?
Yes. HiddenSwap is a no KYC crypto exchange: no account, no name, no ID and no email are needed for a swap. You give the address for your new coins and the address you send from.

Is HiddenSwap an anonymous crypto exchange?
Yes. HiddenSwap is an anonymous crypto exchange: a normal swap needs no account, no email and no ID, and your swap record keeps no name and no IP address. Bitcoin payments stay visible on the Bitcoin chain, so for the strongest privacy, receive Monero.

Is HiddenSwap a private crypto exchange?
Yes. HiddenSwap is a private crypto exchange: a swap needs coins, an amount and the address for your new coins, and nothing that names you. Swap records keep no name and no IP address, and are deleted after 90 days. It works in Tor Browser, also with JavaScript turned off. For the most private swap, receive Monero, which hides amounts, senders and receivers by default.

How long does a swap take?
It depends on the network you send from. Your deposit needs network confirmations first, then your coins are swapped and sent. The order page shows every step.
I lost my order ID. What can I do?
Write to support with your deposit transaction hash. We can find your swap with it.
Why give the address I send from?
The swap form asks for it, and you send your deposit from that address. If a swap cannot finish, your coins go back to the address they came from. Coins on an exchange account? Withdraw them to your own wallet first. The form does not ask this for Monero, and for Zcash paid from a shielded balance it stays empty.

Floating or fixed rate?
Floating follows the market until your deposit is confirmed, so you may get a little more or a little less. Fixed locks the rate until the timer on the order page ends. Send the exact amount before then to keep it.
What if I send the wrong amount?
With a floating rate, a different amount above the minimum is usually swapped at the rate when it confirms. With a fixed rate, a smaller amount may be swapped in proportion, and a larger amount is not swapped automatically. Below the minimum, the swap cannot finish and a refund is not guaranteed. Contact support with your order ID.
How long is a deposit address valid?
Send within 24 hours for a floating rate, or before the timer ends for a fixed rate. Use each deposit address once, and never send to an old order.
Which networks are supported?
Every coin shows its network. Always send on the network shown next to the deposit address.
Does it work over Tor?
Yes. The site works in Tor Browser, and the swap works with JavaScript turned off, so it also works at the Safest security level.
