Private by design

A private crypto exchange that does not need your name

What a private crypto swap needs from you

    • Coins and an amountPick what you send and what you get. The estimate shows what you get, with our fee already in it.
    • The address for your new coinsWhere your coins go. Use a wallet you control, so the coins stay yours.
    • A refund address, if you want oneWhere your coins go back if a swap cannot finish. Give one when you send Monero, because Monero does not show where a payment came from.

That is all. You get an order ID instead of an account.

Private crypto swaps in Tor Browser

The site runs in Tor Browser, which keeps your IP address from the sites you visit. The swap form works with JavaScript turned off, so it works on the Safest setting too.

Your order page follows the swap without JavaScript as well. It reloads by itself while the swap runs.

What this private crypto exchange keeps, and for how long

For 90 days, swap records keep the order ID, coins, amounts, addresses, transaction hashes, times and where your visit started. They keep no name and no IP address. Why hidden lists every field and why we need it.

Which coin keeps a swap most private

    • Monero (XMR)Hides amounts, senders and receivers by default, so it is the strongest choice to receive. See our Monero (XMR) exchange page.
    • Zcash (ZEC)Payments between shielded addresses hide the sender, the receiver and the amount. Shield a transparent payout soon after it arrives. See our Zcash (ZEC) exchange page.
    • Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Solana and USDTPayments stay visible on these chains. Use a new address for each payout, so it stays apart from your older activity.

The most private swap here ends in Monero, for example USDT (TRC-20) to Monero or Litecoin to Monero. Our guide Zcash vs Monero compares the two privacy coins.

Keep it private after the swap

    • Keep your coins in a wallet you control. A service where you have an account knows which address it paid.
    • For Monero, use your own node, or reach one over Tor, to keep your IP address from a remote node operator.
    • Do not reuse addresses on public chains. Reuse joins your histories together.

Our Monero wallet guide shows how to set up a wallet of your own.

    Questions about private swaps

Is a private crypto exchange the same as an anonymous one?

They overlap. Anonymous is about who you are: a normal swap here needs no account, no email and no ID. Private is about what others can see: receive Monero, use Tor Browser and give a new address for each payout. HiddenSwap is both.

Can I swap privately from Bitcoin?

Yes. Swap BTC to Monero. Your Bitcoin deposit shows on the Bitcoin chain like any Bitcoin payment. The XMR you get arrives with its amount, sender and receiver hidden on the Monero chain.

Do you ask for a phone number or an email?

No. A normal swap needs no phone number, no email and no ID. If you write to support, we keep your message so we can answer it.

How long does a private swap take?

As long as any other swap here. It depends on the network you send from: your deposit needs network confirmations first, then your coins are swapped and sent. The order page shows every step.

Who can open my order page?

Anyone with your order ID, so keep it to yourself. The order page shows the coins, the amounts, your address and each step of your swap.

Same freedom. A more private internet.
