Before you swap
Do not swap all of your TRX. A later USDT transfer from your wallet uses energy, which has no free allowance, so keep some TRX for it. Send native TRX on the Tron network, not a TRX token on BNB Smart Chain. Until the USDT is sent, the TRX waits at the deposit address of your order.

Why people swap Tron to Tether on Tron
One network, two kinds of money
TRX is the native coin of Tron. It pays for the network’s bandwidth and energy, and its price moves with the market. USDT on Tron is a token that Tether issues and pegs to the US dollar. Both live at the same kind of T address, often in the same wallet.
People make this swap when they want part of their TRX at a steady dollar value, or when the person or shop they pay next asks for USDT. This page does not tell you which one to hold. One difference matters before you start: Tether can freeze USDT at an address, as our Tether (USDT) coin page explains, and no one can freeze TRX that way.
Keep some TRX after the swap
A plain TRX transfer uses only bandwidth, and each active address gets some free bandwidth every day. Moving USDT is different. It calls the USDT contract, and that uses energy, which has no free allowance. You get energy by staking TRX, or another account delegates it to you. Otherwise the network burns TRX from your address.
So if you swap every TRX you have, the USDT you get cannot leave your wallet until you add TRX or energy. Swap part of your balance and keep the rest next to the USDT.
Sending the TRX
Send native TRX on the Tron network to the deposit address on your order page. Some platforms also list a TRX token on BNB Smart Chain. That token sits at a 0x address and does not reach a Tron deposit address. If your TRX is on an exchange account, withdraw it to your own wallet first, because the swap form asks for the address you send from.
Where the USDT goes
The USDT can go to the same T address that sends the TRX. It is already active and already holds the TRX you kept. Both transfers are public on Tron, so one address links them. A new address keeps them apart, but it needs TRX of its own before it can move the USDT.
Between the deposit and the payout, your TRX is no longer in your wallet. It waits at the deposit address of your order until the USDT is sent. On a floating quote, the USDT amount is set only once your deposit confirms. If a swap cannot finish, the refund is TRX, and it goes to the Tron address the TRX came from. The way back is USDT (TRC-20) to TRX.
Sending TRX and receiving USDT (TRC-20)
Sending TRX (Tron)
Send native TRX on the Tron network to the deposit address of your order. A plain TRX transfer uses bandwidth, not energy. Each activated address gets some free bandwidth every day, and beyond that the network burns a little TRX from the sending address.
- Choose the Tron network in your wallet or exchange. Some platforms also list a TRX token on BNB Smart Chain. That token is not native TRX, and this swap takes native TRX only.
- Keep a little TRX beyond the amount you send. If your free bandwidth is used up, the network burns TRX to pay for the transfer.
Receiving USDT (TRC-20)
You receive USDT (TRC-20) at a Tron address that starts with T. Use an address from a wallet that shows Tron tokens. Tron transfers have no memo field, so none is needed. The sender pays the transfer cost, so you need no TRX to receive USDT. You will need TRX to send it later.
- Add some TRX to the receiving address if you plan to move the USDT later. A new Tron address becomes active when it receives TRX or a TRC-10 token. USDT is a TRC-20 token, so send TRX to the address as well.
- If the payout shows on Tronscan but not in your wallet, check that your wallet shows TRC-20 tokens and lists USDT with the contract Tether publishes.
TRX to USDT (TRC-20) questions
How do I swap TRX to USDT?
Choose TRX as the coin you send and USDT (TRC-20) as the coin you get. Enter the Tron address that should get the USDT and the Tron address you send from. Then send native TRX to the deposit address on your order page, in one transfer. The USDT is sent once your deposit is credited.
Can I swap TRX to USDT without KYC?
Yes. You can start this swap with no account, no email and no ID. With no profile to sign in to, the link to your order page is how you get back to your swap, so save it when the order opens.
Can the USDT go to the same Tron address that sends the TRX?
Yes. TRX and USDT on Tron use the same kind of address, so one T address can send the TRX and get the USDT. Both transfers are public on Tron, so using one address links them. A new address keeps them apart, but it then needs TRX of its own before it can move the USDT.
Should I swap all of my TRX?
No. Moving USDT on Tron is a smart contract call that uses energy, and energy has no free daily allowance. If an address holds USDT but no TRX and no energy, the USDT cannot move. Keep some TRX next to the USDT, or swap only part of your balance.
Is the payout USDT on Tron or on another network?
On Tron, as a TRC-20 token at a T address. If you want USDT on Ethereum, pick USDT (ERC-20) as the coin you get, and give a 0x address. The two are separate balances on separate networks.

My TRX is listed on BNB Smart Chain. Can I send it here?
No. This deposit address takes native TRX on the Tron network only. A TRX token on BNB Smart Chain is a different asset at a 0x address, and it does not arrive here. Withdraw or move native TRX on Tron first.
How long does a TRX to USDT swap take?
Both sides are on Tron. A Tron block comes about every 3 seconds, and a block is final after about a minute. Your deposit is credited once it has enough confirmations, and the USDT goes out after that. Your order page shows each step.
Is the USDT amount fixed when I start the order?
Only on a fixed quote, and only for the exact amount shown, sent before the deadline on your order page. On a floating quote, the USDT amount follows the market until your deposit confirms. The payout fee in USDT is shown before you swap.
