Before you swap
Send native SOL on the Solana network only. Wrapped SOL and staked SOL are not native SOL, so unwrap or withdraw first. For the payout, give a Litecoin address that starts with ltc1q, L or M, not an MWEB or Taproot address. Until the LTC is sent, the SOL waits at the deposit address of your order.

Why people swap Solana to Litecoin
From Solana to a Bitcoin-style coin
SOL is the native coin of Solana, an account chain where apps run on the chain itself and slots last about 300 milliseconds. Litecoin works much like Bitcoin: coins sit in outputs at addresses, a block comes about every 2.5 minutes, and there is no app layer to pay for. Both prices move with the market, and no one can freeze either coin at an address.
People make this swap when they want part of their SOL in a coin that works like Bitcoin, or when the person or shop they pay next asks for LTC. This page does not tell you which coin to hold.
Sending native SOL
Send native SOL on the Solana network to the deposit address on your order page. Wrapped SOL is a separate token balance, so unwrap it first. Staked SOL has to be deactivated and withdrawn to your wallet before you can send it. A Solana account must also keep a minimum balance: a send that would leave less than that, but more than zero, fails. Keep the minimum, or send your whole balance. Our Solana (SOL) coin page covers wallets and fees.
If your SOL is on an exchange account, withdraw it to your own wallet first, because the swap form asks for the address you send from.
The Litecoin address you give
Paste a standard Litecoin address from a wallet you control. Litecoin Core creates ltc1q addresses by default, and addresses that start with L or M work too. The payout cannot go to an MWEB address (ltcmweb1) or a Taproot address (ltc1p), but you can move the coins into MWEB yourself after they arrive. An old address that starts with 3 still works, yet Bitcoin uses the same format, so use one only if you copied it from your Litecoin wallet. Our Litecoin (LTC) coin page explains the address types.
Between the deposit and the payout, your SOL is no longer in your wallet. It waits at the deposit address of your order until the LTC is sent. On a floating quote, the LTC amount is set only once your deposit confirms. If a swap cannot finish, the refund is SOL, and it goes to the Solana address the SOL came from. The way back is LTC to SOL.
Sending SOL and receiving LTC
Sending SOL (Solana)
Send native SOL on the Solana network to the deposit address of your order. Copy and paste the address. Solana addresses have no checksum, so a typo can still look like a valid address. Keep a little extra SOL for the network fee.
- Send native SOL. Wrapped SOL is a separate SPL token balance, so unwrap it in your wallet first.
- Your account must keep a minimum balance. A send that would leave less than that minimum, but more than zero, fails. Keep the minimum, or send your whole balance.
Receiving LTC (Litecoin)
You receive LTC on the Litecoin network. Give a standard Litecoin address from a wallet you control. The payout is a normal transaction on the main chain, so any Litecoin wallet or block explorer can show it.
- Use an address that starts with ltc1q, L or M. Litecoin Core creates ltc1q addresses by default.
- Do not give an MWEB address (ltcmweb1) or a Taproot address (ltc1p). The swap form does not accept them. You can move the coins into MWEB yourself after they arrive.
SOL to LTC questions
How do I swap SOL to LTC?
Choose SOL as the coin you send and LTC as the coin you get. Enter a Litecoin address from your own wallet and the Solana address you send from. Then send native SOL on the Solana network to the deposit address on your order page, in one transaction. The LTC is sent once your deposit is credited.
Can I swap SOL to LTC without KYC?
Yes. You can start this swap with no account, no email and no ID. With no profile to sign in to, the link to your order page is how you get back to your swap, so save it when the order opens.
Can I send wrapped or staked SOL?
No. Wrapped SOL is a separate token balance, so unwrap it in your wallet first. Staked SOL has to be deactivated and withdrawn to your wallet before you can send it. This deposit takes native SOL only.
Why did my SOL transfer fail?
A Solana account must keep a minimum balance. A send that would leave less than that minimum, but more than zero, fails. Keep the minimum in your wallet, or send your whole balance. A transaction can also expire if it is not processed in time, so check the explorer before you send again.
Which Litecoin address should I paste?
A standard Litecoin address that starts with ltc1q, L or M, from a wallet you control. The form does not take MWEB addresses (ltcmweb1) or Taproot addresses (ltc1p). You can move the coins into MWEB yourself after they arrive.
Can I use an address that starts with 3?
It works on Litecoin, but Bitcoin uses the same format, so a mix-up is easy. Only use a 3 address if you copied it from your Litecoin wallet. A newer ltc1q address avoids the question.
How long does a SOL to LTC swap take?
The Solana side is quick. Slots last about 300 milliseconds, and your deposit is credited once it reaches the confirmation level the order needs. A Litecoin block comes about every 2.5 minutes, and Litecoin Core shows the payout as confirming until it has 6 confirmations, about 15 minutes.
Is the LTC amount fixed when I start the order?
Only on a fixed quote, and only for the exact amount shown, sent before the deadline on your order page. On a floating quote, the LTC amount follows the market until your deposit confirms. The payout fee in LTC is shown before you swap.
