Before you swap
Send USDT on the Tron network only, from a wallet with TRX or energy for the transfer. For the payout, paste a Litecoin address that starts with ltc1q, L or M, not an MWEB or Taproot address. Until the LTC is sent, the USDT waits at the deposit address of your order.

Why people swap Tether on Tron to Litecoin
From a dollar token to a coin with no issuer
USDT on Tron is a token that Tether issues and pegs to the US dollar. Tether can freeze tokens at an address, as our Tether (USDT) coin page explains. Litecoin has no issuer. It is a separate network with its own coin, and its price moves with the market.
People make this swap when they were paid in USDT and want part of it in litecoin, or when the person or shop they pay next asks for LTC. This page does not tell you which coin to hold.
Leaving Tron
The deposit address on your order is a Tron address. It starts with T and takes USDT from the one contract Tether lists for Tron. USDT sent on Ethereum or any other network does not reach it, and a return is not guaranteed. If your USDT is on Ethereum, pick USDT (ERC-20) as the coin you send instead. Our guide to both USDT networks shows how to tell which one you hold.
The Tron transfer pays its network cost in energy and bandwidth, not in USDT, so a wallet of your own needs TRX or energy for it. A token from another contract can carry the name USDT, and it is not USDT.
The Litecoin address you give
Paste a standard Litecoin address from a wallet you control. Litecoin Core creates ltc1q addresses by default, and addresses that start with L or M work too. The payout cannot go to an MWEB address (ltcmweb1) or a Taproot address (ltc1p). You can move the coins into MWEB yourself after they arrive. Our Litecoin (LTC) coin page explains MWEB and the address types.
Between the deposit and the payout, your USDT is no longer in your wallet. It waits at the deposit address of your order until the LTC is sent. On a floating quote, the LTC amount is set only once your deposit confirms. If a swap cannot finish, the refund is USDT on Tron, and it goes to the Tron address the USDT came from.
Sending USDT (TRC-20) and receiving LTC
Sending USDT (TRC-20)
Send USDT on the Tron network only. Your wallet or exchange must show Tron or TRC-20 as the network. The sending address also needs TRX, because Tron charges for token transfers in energy and bandwidth, not in USDT.
- Pick Tron (TRC-20) in your wallet or in the exchange withdrawal form. USDT sent on another network does not reach a Tron deposit address.
- Send real USDT. The token in your wallet must use the contract Tether lists for Tron. A token called USDT from any other contract is not USDT.
Receiving LTC (Litecoin)
You receive LTC on the Litecoin network. Give a standard Litecoin address from a wallet you control. The payout is a normal transaction on the main chain, so any Litecoin wallet or block explorer can show it.
- Use an address that starts with ltc1q, L or M. Litecoin Core creates ltc1q addresses by default.
- Do not give an MWEB address (ltcmweb1) or a Taproot address (ltc1p). The swap form does not accept them. You can move the coins into MWEB yourself after they arrive.
USDT (TRC-20) to LTC questions
How do I swap USDT to LTC?
Choose USDT (TRC-20) as the coin you send and LTC as the coin you get. Enter a Litecoin address from your own wallet and the Tron address you send from. Then send the USDT on the Tron network to the deposit address on your order page, in one transfer. The LTC is sent once your deposit is credited.
Can I swap USDT to LTC without KYC?
Yes. You can start this swap with no account, no email and no ID. With no profile to sign in to, the link to your order page is how you get back to your swap, so save it when the order opens.
Which Litecoin address should I paste?
A standard Litecoin address that starts with ltc1q, L or M, from a wallet you control. The form does not take MWEB addresses (ltcmweb1) or Taproot addresses (ltc1p). You can move the coins into MWEB yourself after they arrive.
Can I use an address that starts with 3?
It works on Litecoin, but Bitcoin uses the same format, so a mix-up is easy. Only use a 3 address if you copied it from your Litecoin wallet. A newer ltc1q address avoids the question.
My USDT is on Ethereum. Can I send it to this deposit address?
No. This deposit address is on Tron and takes only USDT on Tron. USDT sent from Ethereum or any other network does not arrive here, and a return is not guaranteed. Pick USDT (ERC-20) as the coin you send in the swap form instead. That transfer pays its gas in ETH.

How long does a USDT to LTC swap take?
The Tron side is usually short. A Tron block comes about every 3 seconds and is final after about a minute. A Litecoin block comes about every 2.5 minutes, and Litecoin Core shows the payout as confirming until it has 6 confirmations, about 15 minutes. Your order page shows each step.
Is the LTC amount fixed when I start the order?
Only on a fixed quote, and only for the exact amount shown, sent before the deadline on your order page. On a floating quote, the LTC amount follows the market until your deposit confirms. The payout fee in LTC is shown before you swap.
The LTC does not show in my wallet. What now?
Let the wallet finish syncing, then look up the payout transaction on a Litecoin block explorer with the hash from your order page. If the explorer shows it at your address, the LTC is there. If you still cannot find it, contact support with your order ID.
